The Albannach Hotel,
Chef/proprietors Colin Craig and Lesley Crosfield are the holders of various awards for their authentic Scottish hospitality and skilful interpretation of modern Scottish cooking.
In 2002, the Which? Hotel Guide named the Albannach one of its Hotels of the Year; we were named West Coast Newcomer of the Year 2000 by the Good Food Guide, in which we have been awarded 6/10 - putting us among the top dozen restaurants in Scotland. We also hold awards for excellence from Scotland The Best! and Macallan Taste of Scotland and are rated by Michelin.
Editorial reviews in publications such as Conde Nast Traveller, New York Times Travel and Leisure, Country Living and Best Scottish Weddings ensure a cosmopolitan following. A feature on The Albannach appears in May 2004 edition of Bon Appetit magazine.
In January 2007, the Independent named the Albannach in the top ten of its 50 Best British Hotels.
